With the constant exploitation of land resources in recent years, some oil and gasresources are becoming less and less. Therefore, people set their sights on the polar regions.The rational development and utilization of resources in the polar oceans have gradually beenput on the agenda. Polar scientific expedition has evolved, and icebreaker shows its importantrole, whose main task is to open up new routes, carry out rescue and polar materialstransportation. To this end, improving the ability of the icebreaker and developing new shipbecome particularly important. Based on a voyage ice covered waters icebreaker bow, todetermine the interaction of icebreakers and ice conditions, an ice load model was used tocalculate the designing ice load according to the energy balance principle. The main contentsare as follows:1. Summarize and analyze the main research method of ice load, and use MSC.Patran/Dytran software to carry out numerical simulation of ice loads. Determine the feasibility ofsuch analytical methods by comparing the test consults through numerical simulationanalysis of the process to icebreak. Draw general rules of ice loads through simulating andanalyzing cases under different conditions.2. Based on the principle of "collision type" ice-breaking method and finite elementsimulation method, research the key technologies of numerical simulation in the collision todetermine suitable research program in this paper. Determine the trend of ice load byanalyzing sub-ice crushing process. Select different impact velocity, impact angle and icethickness to study these parameters’ effect on the icebreaker icebreaking capability.3. Propose a new form of ice-breaking structure of icebreaker through the above analysis.Apply the double-pile structure to the icebreaker which can enhance the ice-breaking abilityof icebreaker. |
