Study On The Urban Job-housing Spatial Balance Under The Tod Mode

Urbanization is the result of population activities fundamentally, living andemployment are the two basic activities of urban population which mutuallydependent and interacting with each other. Reasonable Job-Housing spaceconfiguration can not only reduce residents’ travel cost, improve the quality of life,but also can reduce the pressure on urban traffic congestion, reduce the pollution ofthe environment, save energy consumption, and has a lot of important significanceson the construction of low-carbon city as well as promoting the development ofharmonious society.From the urban traffic and the interaction mechanism of land use, TOD theoryadvocates to promote urban land development by public transport’s guide, andemphasize density, mixed function of the construction of the development on land usein urban rail transit station area, pay attention to creating a good environment throughthe space design, which be advantageous to realize the urban Job-Housing SpatialBalance development.Firstly, this thesis summarize about the research situation of Job-Housing SpatialBalance from the earlier discussion, the patterns of urban spatial structure, urban landdevelopment modes and position of Housing Space Matching system, make emphaseson the evolution of Housing Space for the development and the current research focus;Secondly, research the TOD theory, basic model and the concept of "3D" coreprinciples systematically, analyze the misunderstanding of TOD mode as well as thedeviations in practice, summarize the practical significances of the development ofcity construction in our country, and put forward that the core idea of TOD theory isto realize the balance development of Job-Housing Space, On the those basses,analyze the main influence factors and its effect laws of Job-Housing Spatial Balancedevelopment; Finally, take Xuzhou city as an example, analyze the current situation ofthe development of Job-Housing Spatial Balance in the stations area along the lightrail line1of Xuzhou city from two aspects: the Job-space and Housing space,evaluate the sample station area’s Job-Housing Spatial Balance development degree,combine with the mixed degree of land-use for correlation analysis. From raising thescientific understanding of TOD theory, improving the urban space structure, theconstruction of Balanced urban unit, improving the house supply and perfecting thepublic service facilities, developing the public transportation, etc, the paper puts forward relevant improvement strategies and measures.
