| In recent years, with the continuous development and expansion of citysize,people’s living places are located in the suburb of the city,while the work placesare located in the city center. Besides the city center and the peripheral region ofresidence commuting demand grows more and more, the proportion of private carcommuting gradually increases. Traffic congestion is getting worse. Experience ineach city to ease traffic congestion proved that limiting purchase,traffic restriction andother coercive measures can’t solve the congestion problem at the root.To control thecar commuting, we must vigorously develop public transport, improve bus servicequality and enhance the attractiveness of public transport. Customized city busservice(CCBS)—one new public transport with the superiority“one person one siteand directly arriveâ€,between conventional buses and private cars,runs in rush hours toattract private car owners commute by public transport to reduce the peak time of cartravel.CCBS is a public transport service with higher levels of multi-level anddiversification. The running of Beijing CCBS not only solves the commuting problemof the workers,but also relieves road congestion.The research result from office buildings of high-tech zones and large livingareas of Xi’an shows that office workers of Xi ’an also have a great demand forcustomized city bus service.For this need,we conducted a second survey in high-techzone for the living places,commuting time and acceptable price of the passengers whowants to take CCBS. According to the research result, combined Xi’an BusCorporation and Hi-tech Zone Social Authority,the thesis studies and designs thetransit scheme research on customized city bus service of Xi’an.This thesis plansthree preliminary routes,and detailedly studies organizational administration, vehicleconfigurations, the fare mechanism and publicity strategy,which provides scheme gistfor being launched of Xi’an CCBS. |
