Bridge have a important effect on economic and social development as the hub of landtransportation. But bridge engineering be confronted with all kinds of the risk of difficultprecognition in every stage of life process. If bridge occur to destroy in unexpected accident, the economic loss and personnel casualties is enormous. The risk research and control becomethe hot spot issue that people research in recent years. The risk assess can help to enhance thelevel of bridge project、construction and maintain and reduce investment cost. People paymore and more attention to the bridge risk research and have obtained many research results. This text concludes and summarizes the history、actuality、shortage and the comingdevelopment direction of the risk analysis, then expounds in detail the risk analysis system ofbridge engineering and introduces some frequently-used risk analysis methods. The importantexpounded object in this text is the bridge durability assess in bridge risk analysis andscientific interpret the main bridge durability、grade divided standard、assess pattern on thebasis of the previous research result、some standards and practical project experiences. Thedurability assess method is fuzzy analytic hierarchy process(FAHP). It comes up with variableweight analysis method combined concrete bridge durability method. It solves differentcontribution problems of assess result that different damaged degree index impacted. Theexample of reinforced concrete arch bridge provides administrative levels repartition andassess pattern of specific bridge. In last, this text proceeds specific durability assess ofXiaonanmen large bridge on the basis of engineering background of Xiaonanmen large bridge. The results show that the assessment conclusions match the actual results well,so the methodis proved to be feasible.
