As the urban transport department become one of the large carbon emissions and energyconsumption in the whole society, led to the idea of energy saving and emissions reduction inurban transportation. As the backbone of the transport system, rail transport, with its largevolume, low energy consumption, high efficiency, no pollution, less land area, low-carbonand low noise characteristics having more and more attention from big cities. However, due toits accessibility and bigger station spacing, it needs to connect with other transport modes,protecting passenger distribution. Bicycle traffic as one of the rail transit development andextension return to public view with its flexible, no pollution and fitness features. This paperwas studied on bike-and-metro system.Firstly, this paper discusses the necessity of bike-and-metro system from low carboncharacteristics of bicycle and rail transit. Secondly, expounding the feasibility of the systemfrom applicable groups, suitable distance, convenience, economy, and time value. Thirdly, inview of the transfer station for the construction of the bicycle parking lot, mainly researchedon the factors influencing the requirements of bike-and-metro system, summed up theprinciple of transfer orbit site selection and demand forecasting formula, the location ofbicycle parking lot, discussing the applicable according to the various form of bicycle parkinglot and proposing supporting service facilities and the corresponding management measures toincrease the coordination. Finally, creating a good bike ride transfers environment on theimproving design of section and intersection of bicycle road environment.
