Energy is the material foundation for the survival and development ofhuman social. Rational utilization of energy is the primary concern issue intoday’s world economic development and it plays a pivotal role in thesustainable development of society. Stirling engine is an external heatingpower machine; it has comprehensive heat source adaptability. Besides fueland traditional energy gas, it also can take advantage of solar energy, biomassand industrial waste heat, waste heat. In order to make full and efficient use ofrenewable energy and low grade energy, doing some research of heat sourcesystem, performance analysis and experiment of Stirling engine are veryimportant.Firstly, the development status of the Stirling engine is introduced in thispaper. Stirling engines have outstanding characteristics of steady burning andcomprehensive external heating method. Secondly, using ideal Stirling cycleanalysis and Schmidt analysis to establish the zero-order and first-orderanalysis model Stirling engine performance theory, gets the factors affectingthe performance of Stirling engine. Experimental studies can be adjustedwith the parameters affecting the Stirling engine, and the heat loss of theStirling engine is analyzed, and the reasons of theoretical output power reduced is inducted in this paper;Thirdly, the multi-heat chamber, a coolingwater circulation means and the charge air pressure device and othercomponents are designed, and they are combined with the measurementprogram which is given power, temperature, pressure and speed and otherparameters. Stirling engine experimental platform of multiple heat sourcesystem is built, and the results of the numerical simulation of multi-heatcombustion chamber with temperature, pressure and velocity fields areanalyzed; Finally based on Stirling engine performance test platform, theStirling engine carries out experimental study at different pressures anddifferent precharging start temperature. With analyzing the Stirling enginewarm-up phase at the start, the operational phase and stop OperatingCharacteristics stage, the results provide experimental evidence for usage inlow-temperature Stirling engine digit heat.A test platform is developed in this paper. With analyzing the overallperformance of the Stirling engine experiments, combining with solar,biomass, industrial waste heat, waste heat and the heat source attributes, it cando the research with which will match of different stages of Stirling engineto achieve the comprehensive utilization of energy and to improve the effectof energy efficiency.
