With the vigorous development of Chinese auto industry, the lubricant has newrequirements of automobile parts.Aulthough automobile grease lubricant as a semi-solid statelubricant has very a few percentage in a whole car,many auto parts are involved,and it makesa big effect on the automobile life,power performance,fuel economy,operation stablility andsafety.It is very necessary to develop the corresponding special gresase lubricant for thedifferent auto parts,to realize "lifetime lubrication",improving the quality of the carsoperation and control,reducing the maintenance costs, extending the service life of thecar.The current domestic study of automobie grease mainly uses the basic physical andchemical properties testing equipments,such as cone penetrometer,drop pointtester,evaporation loss tester,four ball machine abrasion resistance tester and soon.Actually,during the reaserch of auto grease,evaluating the quality of grease not only needsthe evaluation of the physical and chemical performance before work in the lab,but also needsthe simulation test bench experiment.Of course,the final actual vehicle road test is todetect,but from the point of view of most enterprises,due to its long period and largeinverstment funds,it is used rarely.Therefore,it is necessary to design a simulation bench testto replace the actual vechile experiment,so as to improve the economy and efficency ofreaserch and development of auto grease.This paper designed and developed three automotive grease lubrication test-beds, thesetest-beds are able to perform endurance test for three kinds of auto parts(automobileswitch,automobile cable,Electric glass lifter,) lubrication.In addition,comprehensivedurability test components’ performance change of friction and wear state, and the changes ofgrease samples in the process to test and assess the grease lubricating condition andeffect.The main research content of this paper is as follows:(1)Through the analysis of automobile grease content and its research methods, putingforward the necessity of the development and designnation of auto parts grease lubricatingsimulation test bench.Through various ways of investigation to reasearch the market andstduy situation of demestic automobile grease lubricant,introducing the autumobile grease detection methods,puts forward the question and insufficiency of the grease quality andtesting methods.Coming up with the grease of development train of thought"analysis of theparts’ operation conditionâ†'analysis of the grease physis and chemical propertiesâ†'primarygreaseâ†'test bench experimentâ†'analysis of resultâ†'grease optimization".(2)According to the background and situation of auto grease lubrication,selected thethree kinds of auto parts(auto switch, automotive cable, automotive electric glass elevator)with lubrication fault to design the test bed measurement and control system overall structureand scheme. According to the requirements of the overall design for test bench, this papergives the design of the hardware system and software system. Hardware system is chosenaccording to different parts measurement parameters, the control way is to selectprogrammable controller PLC and industrial control computer measurement,the combinationof bus technology is adopted to improve the data transmission and exchange of informationbetween each other; Software systems are just use Visual c++programming language designof control software. Installation and commissioning test bench, develop its functiondescription and maintenance specification file.(3)According to the selected components technology requirements and lubricationrequirements, through the experimental study of the grease, it is concluded that theoptimization plan of the grease lubrication.This topic provides a more reliable method for the study of automotive special greasedetection and research.It does matting for improving the quality of the domestic automotivespecial grease industry and developing the normative market,aligning with foreignautomotive special grease quality, improving the status quo of the domestic automobilegrease for non-standard, low grade, and cars do not form a complete set etc, all kinds oflubrication problem.
