With the growth of life, changes of environmental conditions, material propertiesdegradation, overload and surge in vehicle traffic and other factors, the performance of thehighway bridge structure will experience a gradual decay process that occurs when a bridgevarious diseases, component damage or partial destruction component etc, then the need forsuch bridges necessary to monitor the operational phase, which aims to bridge the premiseunder the protection of the safe operation and to provide basis for decision making for thenext structural repair or reinforcement. Compared with the new bridge constructionmonitoring technology for a longer service life and the occurrence of various diseasesbridges using performance monitoring operational phase, monitoring content and objects tobe considered there is a big difference, so our view of the current highway bridge CurrentSituation of existing highway bridge safety monitoring technology research operational phasehas a certain practical significance.In this paper, three in Guangdong province, the typical form of the existing bridgestructure engineering background, based on the structure of the bridge and disease status ofthe investigation on the use of the spatial structure of the bridge structure finite elementmethod overall mechanical performance were studied, developed in line with actualoperational phase bridge safety monitoring technology programs and early warningindicators of thresholds, so as to assess the structural condition of the bridge to provide areliable basis. The main contents are as follows:(1) The main content of the existing bridge for safety monitoring, monitoring designprinciples, sensor network monitoring technology and monitoring systems primarily involvedin research status of the structural condition of the bridge reliability assessment wereoutlined.(2) For existing bridge structure finite element analysis method is studied. Forconcrete bridge components disease types, causes and extent of damage were graded andclassified, review and summarize the calculation model of shrinkage and creepcharacteristics and comparative analysis, finite element analysis model elaborated concretestructures with cracks work and calculation methods. (3) in Guangdong Province within three typical highway bridge structure engineeringbackground, operational monitoring technology for highway bridges, the existing bridgeoperational safety analysis method and its implementation are studied. On the basis of theactual disease and mechanical properties of bridge components for detailed testing, theestablishment of a three-dimensional finite element analysis model takes into account thestatus of the bridge and the use of MIDAS/FEA finite element analysis software for thesimulation analysis, the most unfavorable load effect calculated based on the structure ofdistribution and range of values to determine the operational phase bridge safety monitoringdeformation force control by selection based on the location and monitoring sensors, so as todevelop the operational phase of the existing bridge monitoring program to determine thehealth status of the bridge monitoring and early warning indicators provide a scientific basis.This paper has carried out monitoring of proven effective and reasonable related researchresults.
