As a kind of power split systems, two-path split gear transmission system with a simplerstructure has the characteristics of high reduction ratio, light weight and low noise. It is widely used inmechanical and related fields. Based on two-path split gear transmission system for the study, theresearch of system load characteristics, dynamics, dynamics optimization design and analysissoftware development are carried out. Research result has great guide significance in structure design, manufacturing and installation of two-path split gear transmission system.Based on the characteristics of the system structure, force situation of the system is analyzed, listed the statics equations of the system and load of two-path of the system are obtained. On this basis, the influences of shaft angle, input torque, torsional stiffness, support stiffness and tooth meshstiffness on the load share of the system are studied. Considering the internal motivation such astime-varying mesh stiffness and gear mesh error, based on the theory of the concentrated parameter, the dynamics model of bending-torsional coupling of system is set up. The dynamics differentialequation of the system is obtained and a simplified and dimensionless on the equation is carried out.Based on system dynamics differential equation after processing, the natural frequency of the systemis obtained and the influence factors of natural frequency are analyzed. By using variable stepRunge-Kutta method, the system dynamics differential equation is solved. Further more, the systemdynamic meshing force, the load sharing coefficient and dynamic load coefficient are obtained bygetting the system dynamics response. On this basis, the influences of mesh stiffness, support stiffness, torsional stiffness, gear mesh error and input parameters on dynamics characteristics of the system areanalyzed. Take gear basic parameters as design variables, in the case of gear strength conditions, geartooth conditions, gear structure conditions, with load shareing coefficient as the objective function, single objective dynamics optimization is carried out, and with load shareing coefficient and systemsize as the objective function, multi-objective dynamics optimization is carried out. The results of twomethods of optimization are compared. Based on MATLAB language, the system analysis software isdeveloped.
