| The car ownership is increasing continually with the rapid development ofautomobile industry. The frequency of traffic accident and the high casualties with ithave been paid more and more attention. At present, Safety, energy saving andenvironmental protection are the most difficult problems, these make people putforward higher and higher request for the safety performance of the car. The vehiclecrash safety is the most important one of passive safety, Front Impact, side impact andrear impact are the hot studying field now. As SUV grew in popularity, the security ofrolling collision will gain new respect. There are no consummate safety standards andevaluation index at the moment, correlational studies are very rare. The paper willmake a tentative study on this issue, provide some experience and ways to theanalysis of rollover in the future.1.Build the finite element model of an SUV used HyperMesh based on finiteelement method and engineering practice. Make the model meet the requirements ofsimulation accuracy and validity. Master the key methods and techniques in theprocess of modeling.2.Build the finite element model of roof crush resistance according to thestandard GB26134-2010. Set up load, restriction and the original condition, thensolve the calculation with PAM–CRASH. Finally, draw conclusions of the vehiclesafety performance from the result.3. In view of safety performance of the roof crash resistance, the paper take theadvantage of modern design theories and methods in the process of lightweightdesign of autobody structure. The sample data was obtained utilizing orthogonalexperimental design. Then make use of moving least square to build a regressionmodel. The traditional Response Surface Method is entirely dependent on the samplepoints which were selected at the very beginning. The problem in the wake of abovedefect could be averted by using the adaptive response surface method. Optimize theproject by using HyperStudy software. Finally, the weight of the structural componentcan be decreased without losing safety performance of body structure. 4. Build the finite element model of rollover condition according to the standardFMVSS208. Using a rigid body model to work out the data of kinestate at themoment of collisions between car and road. Then locate the model of the car basedthe data and solve the model. Make a concrete analysis of safety performance withthe result of intrusion, the speed of instruction and the force of section. |
