In order to be able to understand the rules andcharacteristics of urban development better,We can achieve the goal through thestudying of spatial forms that can reveal their inner structure, As on the raised portion ofthe Earth’s land,the hilliside area are significantly different from the plains in variousnatural and social characteristics, which determines the development and evolution ofurban spatial morphology of the hilliside has its own laws that is more specificity andcomplexity. However, because people are lack of understanding in the process ofurbanization in hilliside regions, the development of urban spatial morphology arefacing severe challenges such as the urban congestion, ecological destruction and otherissues. In view of this, our professor ask us to research the development of urbanspatial morphology evolution theory and case studies, hopeing to form a system thatcovering Europe, America, Southeast Asia, Japan, Britain, Australia and other areas onthe hilliside cities abroad. In order to guide urbanization of China’s mountainous regionsbetter.The construction of urban spatial morphology of Eastern Europe hilliside has greatsignificance in the history of Western civilization, especially the ancient Greekcivilization. In this paper, using the history of exploration as the source, and using theinduction, analogy and other methods to discusse the construction of urban spatialmorphology of Eastern Europe aimed at distinctively proposed spatial form patterns andcharacteristics further.The thesis is divided into eight sections of four parts:The first part of the first chapter that introduction, describes the purpose andsignificance of the study, defines the concept of Eastern Europe, hilliside cities andother forms of space and build a working framework.The second part is the second chapter, introduce the geographic location,topography, weather and climate, socio-economic, history, politics and religion.
