Research On Traffic Congestion In Old City Of Xingtai And Countermeasures

With the rapid development of society and economy in the city, population problems，traffic congestion, environmental pollution in the western city also occurred in our city,the traffic congestion problem of the city road is particularly prominent, and the roadtraffic problems in the old city is becoming more and more difficulties in city trafficproblems. It not only affects the efficiency and quality of the city’s life, but also broughtsuch as environment, public safety and a series of social problems. Improvement andoptimization of road traffic conditions of the old city has become an important topic in thecurrent domestic city, congestion problems need to be solved, as soon as possible.The traffic congestion of large and medium-sized city in our county is becomingmore serious, has affected the development of resident trip and social economy seriously,is one of the focus issues. To solve the traffic congestion problem, not only to guidepeople to travel, but also to strengthen infrastructure construction, and to maximize theutilization efficiency of the existing road network, these need to accurate prediction andestimation of the city traffic congestion. Therefore, this article makes a deeper research.Xingtai is an important central city in southern Hebei of China, It also faces with thecontradiction between the limited traffic demand and rapid growth of the city, the problemof traffic congestion is very serious. In this paper, take the old city of Xingtai as anexample, through to summary the Xingtai city characteristics and traffic demandcharacteristics, analysis of the development trend of city traffic, road traffic improvementand optimization of the old city as soon as possible, in order to promote the overall trafficconstruction in Xingtai city along the healthy development of city sustainabledevelopment direction, to build a harmonious society, promote the city’s image, realizingthe central city’s rise.
