With the development of economy and the progress of society, the transportsystem has played an increasingly important role in the development of the nationaleconomy. Highway, as an important part of the transportation system, has beendeveloping rapidly in recent years. As a key to the highway construction, more andmore attention has been paid to the bridge. The steel bridge, with a big leap capacity,has higher strength, larger stiffness, and can reduce the height and weight of bridge.And steel is the ideal elastic-plastic body so it is more in line with the actual workstatus and calculation assume. In view of the above advantages, coupled with thefurther improvement of steel production and smelting technology and the increasinglysophisticated of the bridge design theory and method, making steel bridge has beenwidely applied to many freeway overpass engineering.The YiZishan interoperable overpass in this article is the QianXi extension LJ-1project, which overpass the JingHa highway. It is a typical highway overpass project.The article, with the background of the project, describes the characteristics of thesteel box girder bridges and development of domestic and foreign steel bridge. Itfocuses on the construction technology of the project. Firstly, the article introducesthe basic situation and construction requirements of the project. Secondly, the makingprocess of steel box girder is been studied, including structure produced program,material inspection and control, welding control and box girder rust. Thirdly, thearticle also discusses the site assembly technology of the steel bridge and the newtechnologies and methods during this process. Lastly, to ensure the project beingconstructed safely and smoothly and not affecting the use of the existing line, thispaper describes some relatively assurance measures.The paper has studied the construction technolo gy carefully, including the basicoverview of the project, technology of the steel box production in the factory,technology of the box girder assemble at the construction site, technology of insuringsmooth flow and security in the construction, which has achieved good results inpractical engineering applications. The study of this article has accumulated valuableexperience for the after project with the same type. At the same time, it promotes thepromotion and application of the associated new technolo gy and method. Therefore,the thesis has great practical significance.
