The rapid development of our national economy requires higher power supplyreliability for urban distribution network has put forward higher requirements; at thesame time the development of the primary and secondary power equipments andcommunication technology provides conditions for distribution automation. Theconstruction of distribution automation system is imperative.This paper firstly analyzes the features of distribution network automationsystem. And then combined with the actual situation of Tianjin urban grid, gives theTianjin urban distribution network automation system concrete design andapplications. Programmers include the overall planning of the system, route planning,communication planning, master station system planning, distribution transformermonitoring planning; distribution of measurement and control terminal of the basicfunctions, the distribution substation, distribution master station, communicationmode; distribution feeder automation (SCAD A, FA),network application (DPAS)function design; communication network and automation of distribution network anddispatching automation system, MIS application interface. According to the designschemes for an equipment to carry out the reform, aiming at the different time deviceconfiguration distribution monitoring terminal, centralized control, supplemented bylocal control automation control mode, taking fiber combined with wireless, opticalfiber based optical fiber carrier, EPON and other networking mode to solve thecommunication problem. Establishing main station in distribution network automationsystem interconnection with other management systems of distribution automationintegrated management platform, solves distribution network automation systemfeatures a single, data utilization problem of low efficiency, realize data sharing. Bycomparing with the domestic distribution automation pilot city illustrates theadvantages of this work. Finally, the implementation of distribution automation,analyzes the economic benefit of. This paper can effectively guide the distributionautomation system construction in order to improve power supply reliability andsupply ability for distribution system.
