As the level of the domestic economy and the improvement of people’s lives,people has put forward higher requirements on air-conditioning system, includingsuitable indoor temperature and enough outdoor air, etc.The variable air volume air-conditioning system varies the volume of constanttemperature air that is supplied to meet the changing load conditions of the space.Currently， The variable air volume air-conditioning systems are mostly used thefixed static pressure control that technology is relatively simple and flexible operationin the country.This topic mainly meet the needs of the domestic VAV system, analysis on theperformance of the fixed static pressure control of VAV air-conditioning system, forthe VAV box control and operation, supply air temperature control and the fixed staticpressure control in-depth study. Then the results of the research applied to the actualVAV system to determine the fixed static pressure setpoint and supply air temperaturesetpoint and outdoor air setting range, VAV air-conditioning system is runningaccording to these parameters. Final, we calculated energy savings by VAVair-conditioning system energy savings calculation method, and compared with theactual value.The actual VAV air-conditioning project testing proved that the research is correctand feasible, and can be applied to the actual project. This research will help domesticHVAC engineer to fully grasp the knowledge of the fixed static pressure variable airvolume air conditioning system, the system designed to be more reasonable. Thisresearch will also help owners or consulting engineer for the fixed static pressureVAV system commissioning and operation management, and making it more stableand energy. This research will also help the promotion and development of the fixedstatic pressure VAV system in the country.
