| Air is the material basis of the surviva l of mankind. Therefore air quality isclosely related with people’s lives and health. Nowadays people spend most ofdaily time indoors on average. Indoor spaces have become a n important place forpeople’s work, rest and entertainment. It can be said that indoor air qualitydirectly affects people’s lives and health. With the rapid development of Chineseeconomy, the impact of indoor air pollution on human health is growing. Pe oplepay close attention to the impact of indoor air quality on human health more andmore.Various air purification technology has effectively solved the problem ofindoor air pollution. The application of air purifier not only can effectivelyimprove the air quality of general households and offices to create a healthy andcomfortable indoor environment for people, but also can solve the indoor airpollution problems of some special occasions (such as hospitals, cars, nuclearpower plants, clean rooms, etc.) which are more significant. On the other hand,the application of air purifier to improve indoor air quality can avoid largerenergy consumption that is brought by traditional ventilation and reduce buildingenergy consumption.This paper focuses on the following air purification technology: HEPA,activated carbon, ACF, photocatalyst, UV-C and negative ions. And it has beendone that developing a new type of indoor air purifier by using them. Theinstrument also contains the air quality detection module with the MQ135airquality sensor. The STC12C5A60S2microprocessor is used in intelligenthardware and software designs. Its work inc ludes sensor data acquisition,analysis of detection results, controlling an LCD display and other controls. Thedesign and production of the prototype of the new type of indoor air purifier andthe actual test both have been done. |
