The collection of VXI bus technology, computer technology, electronicmeasurement technology and test equipment technology, is the inherent requirementand development direction of automatic test system. Automatic test system not onlyrequires a modular compact hardware platform, but also needs to have astandardized, universal testing software for support. The aviation institutementioned, in the developed requirements of "Missile Automatic Test System", thesystem should have a capability that Automatic Test System simulates an a ircraftcommunicated with a missile, have a test of the basic state and performance of themissile, and be synchronized to save the test data for post data analytical andtroubleshooting.This paper first presents the overall program, by analyzing the requirements ofthe measured signal and software functions, takes more mature laboratory-basedVXI bus technology to build an instrument resource module test equipmenthardware platform, designs the test interface adapter for connecting the deviceunder test and automatic test equipment, with the use of ideas for the instrumentresources. It designs to be versatile programmable power supply modules for theentire test equipment and test equipment supply, completes cable test equipmentdesign and structural design, with the self-test simulator, which makes the entireautomated test system hardware platform more perfect. The system uses a solidsolid chassis carrying the entire military hardware platform, more compact instructure, appearance, and has good mobility.The system software was completed under test Lab Windows/CVIdevelopment environment. Software development uses the independent thinking towrite the testing process and the application program, combines with ODBCdatabase connectivity technology, VISA communication interface standards, the useof modular software design ideas. The equipment self-test module, data acquisitionmodule, the testing process interpretation module and interactive interface modulewas completed with different levels and the structural design of the database wasalso improved.The concrete realization of the test process uses a multi-threadedinstrument resource access technology, effectively avoiding the deadlock, in thesame time, calling on the critical front and back office procedures analog signal,pulse signal interface, which was real-time displayed. During the test, the software also can simultaneously collect and store data, and be able to save the data forhistorical inquiry, namely parsing and playback display.This topic also studies offline and online fault diagnosis technology, and givesa specific solution.After a associated laboratory test with the self test simulator and a bomb sitecommissioning, the test results show that the system is user-friendly, stable, easy tooperate, measurement results-accuratedly, in line with user requirements anddevelop requirements.
