With the rapid development of China’s economy and society, the early construction ofthe four-lane highway has been unable to meet the transport needs. Renovation andexpansion of the highway can improve the capacity and in line with the objectiverequirements of economic and transportation development. Renovation and expansion ofthe highway will become an important form ofhighway construction.For importanthighway expansion project completed our study found that difficulties existedcommonality of these renovation and expansion project.Difficulties of highway expansion commonality include: difficulties in landacquisition, renovation and expansion of the interchange difficult, bridges and culverts andother structures expansion difficulties. Summarize the reasons for these difficulties arearising: underestimated traffic growth, economic factors and the new highway will be of norelevance aside pre-control. Thesis aside land, multi-lane highway is reserved and set asideinterchange structures such as bridges and culverts reserved measures.Aiming at long-term pre-renovation and expansion of the highway, and takeappropriate control measures in the new pre-reservation period, reducing the difficulty ofhighway expansion and capital investment.New highway set aside pre-control for key technical measures to verify its legitimacyin terms of economic efficiency, to verify whether the new highway projects earmarked totake pre-control technology.Papers by land set aside, reserved lanes, reserved for key technical interchange, etc.,and to study the feasibility and Conditions technology. For the new highway is designed toprovide a new idea.
