Due to the substrate asphalt material of traditional semi-flexible pavementmaterial using hot-mix and hot-shop craft, that would consume large amount ofenergy, pollute the environment, damage to the health of operators. In addition,it iseasy to cause the asphalt aging for high temperature mixing, resulting in decrease ofadhesion and asphalt life,and affect the semi-flexible pavement road performance andservice life.For the shortcomings of hot-mix semi-flexible pavement material, thispaperproposes a new semi-flexible pavement material based onWMA-Foam.Thatturnsordinary asphalt into foamed asphalt by asphalt foam testing machine, and forms largevoid matrix with100℃~130℃aggregates by warm mix and warm paving, pouresthe cement slurryinto the matrix and formswarm mix semi-flexible pavementmaterials.Warm mix semi-flexible pavement materials has retained good performanceof the hot-mix asphaltmixture, and has a significant advantagein energy saving,environmental protection, improving the construction environment and extending thelife of asphalt.Firstly, this paperestablishes mechanical model based on ANSYS finite elementsoftware.Thenthis paper explores semi-flexible pavement design method to ensure thecoordination of the matrix and cement slurry and structural stability,from the point ofcracking.Then, according to the semi-flexible pavement performance requirements of thecement slurry, this paper designs the ordinary cement slurry optimal mix byorthogonal method. On its foundation, optimizes the design of cementslurry byadmixture.Thenthis paper modifies cold mix system of WLB10test machine, prepareswarm-mix asphalt mixture,designs matrix asphalt mixture’s gradation by using gradedblending methodand CAVF, to achieve the design goal of the matrix porosity.Finally, according to the cementslurry and the matrix asphalt mixture’s designmethods, this paper prepares warm-mix semi-flexible pavement mixture. to evaluatethe high temperature stability, low temperature crack resistance, water stability, fatigue performancethrough a series of laboratory tests.Experimental studies have shown that, warm mix semi-flexible pavementmaterial has the characteristics of rigidity and flexibility, and has been very bigimprovement on high temperature stability, low temperature crack resistance, waterstability, fatigue performance, compared with ordinary asphalt mixture. Fly ash incement mortar has improved the performance of water stability of semi-flexiblepavement significantly, to a certain extent, improved the high temperature stability,low temperature crack resistance, fatigue resistance.Emulsified asphalt in cementmortar has improved the high temperature stability, low temperature crack resistance,fatigue resistance of semi-flexible pavement significantly. Carboxyl Latex in cementmortar has improved the high temperature stability, low temperature crack resistance,water stability, fatigue resistance of semi-flexible pavement significantly.Research ofpapers has provided technical reference for promoting the applications of warm mixsemi-flexible pavement material.
