LED is a new light source,it has many advantages as high efficiency, long life, easymonitoring, etc.It has been widely used in street lighting.The intelligent control of LED lightshas become a hot topic,power line carrier technology and Zigbee technology are used incontrol and management of LED streetlight.In recent years, more and more attention aroundthe world are payed to LED. As long as there are electric wire, power line carrier can tansmitdata conveniently.There are also shortcomings,such as transmission range is short, signal lossis large, glitches is serious. Zigbee technology has the features of low energy consumption,low cost, easy to control etc. So Zigbee and wireless sensor network technology has become aresearch hotspot in the field.This paper begins with the efficiency of the transformation of LED driver. LED driverconversion efficiency of half bridge LLC resonant converter has the advantages of lowswitching loss, high efficiency etc.So LLC resonant converter is been chosen as the maincircuit of LED driver. this paper studies the working principle of the half-bridge LLCresonant converter and various working modes, and they are verified by simulation. Thispaper combines the technology of active power factor correction, according to the actualdemand of engineering parameters, designs a200W LED street lamp drive power.Secondly,based on the Zigbee technology, this paper designs the wireless intelligentmonitoring system for street lighting. This paper analyzes Zigbee network technology andprotocol stack architecture. Based on the TI company’s CC2530, this paper designs the circuitof current, temperature, light sensor, and developed the upper computer and the lowercomputer,including PC client and Android client.The content of this paper comes from the cooperation projects: Research on high reliableLED drive key technology power supply (D8114260). Finally, the stability and performancetest of the entire monitoring system is carried on.The efficiency of LED driver is92%and thePF value is more than0.96. The driver achieves the primary switch ZVS and the secondaryrectifier diode ZCS. Output current is constant, the voltage ripple is very small. Themonitoring system based on Zigbee realizes the detection of electric current, temperature,lightintensity and the dimming of the light. The results meet the design requirements.
