Although static test of landing gear can get reliable results, it has many problems. For example,the cycle of test is long, the efficiency of test is low and the cost is huge. Based on multi-bodydynamical theories and the simulating plate of LMS Virtual Lab, the rigid-flexible coupling virtualstatic test model was proposed. After simulating the model, in which the buffer is full elongation, stopand maximum compression, the paper analyzes the influence of fixture flexible to the simulation results.The main contents of this dissertation are summarized as below:1.The thesis introduced the advantages and disadvantages of landing gear physical static test. Itintends to review and analyze the development of multi-body system dynamics theories and virtualreality technology both domestic and abroad, and research status in this field is also reviewed.2.Based on the multi-body dynamical theories and the simulating plate of LMS Virtual Lab andproposed with existing data, the dynamical model of virtual drop test of a helicopter’s main landinggear is established. The research simulates the reasonable buffer parameter of virtual drop, andmeasures the buffer compression when the landing gear is stop and maximum compression. It alsosurveys the changes of angle between each landing gear structure under different state. According tothe Landing loads of landing gear,it sets different working conditions of landing gear,and designs a setof fixture for landing gear virtual static test.3.Based on the fixed interface modal synthesis method, the research employs finite elementpre-processing software Hypermesh to make the main landing gear models and some fixture partsflexible. It also builds up the rigid-flexible coupling virtual static test model of landing gear. Thesimulating research shows that: the displacement of monitoring point is larger when the flexiblity offixture is considered. Under different working conditions, the impacts of each flexible fixture part aredifferent.
