Rock wool is the main material of building fire insulation system, Because ofgood effect of heat preservation, sound insulation, and fire prevention, and rawmaterial sources abundant and the price cheap, it is widely used in industrial heatpreservation and building heat preservation. The foreign rock wool is mostly used inconstruction industry, but the rock wool products in our country are mostly used inindustrial heat preservation for its performance defects. The rock wool productioncompanies in China are mostly used traditional general method, the productivity islow and costs is high, variety is single. While developed countries have adoptedpendulum method cotton machine, it can improve the quality of rock wool and theproduction efficiency, expand products application. In view of the rock woolproduction technology is relatively backward in our country, this paper studies rockwool production technology and production line.This topic set up virtual prototype model for the pendulum cotton machine byPro/E and ADAMS, and simplified the working process.Using the dynamicssimulation software ADAMS to inflict corresponding constraints to the penduluminstitutions. After validating the modle correctly, we simulate the kinematics analysis,and get the varying pattern of the displacement, velocity, and acceleration and theanalytical curve of pendulum angle and swing angular acceleration of the penduluminstitutions. The motion curve analyzes the influence of the pendulum institutionsunder different parameters, and optimizes the pendulum institutions, gets the mostsuitable size. The results show that through the simulation can be intuitive show theworking discipline of oscillation system, it provides reference for structure designand improvement of pendulum cotton machine.
