Indoor fire is the main form of building fire,at the same time indoor is one of themost important place where building fire begin. So,it’s meaningful to study on the safetyof indoor fire. The development process of indoor fire complex, which is influenced bymany factors that be divided into the factors associated with the room itself, the factorsassociated with the fuel. This paper summarizes the basic data access of the fire development process andthe characteristics of each stage, analyze the mechanism of effect of the indoor firefactors. And based on the summarize of the factors that affect fire, it study on theinfluence that room size have on fire, and focus on study the influence that fire position, distance of combustible, the rate of heat release rate of growth, room opening size havein the small room (4m6m3m) which is common in urban on by simulation softwareCFAST6.0.In addition, because the single compartment fire is the origin of building fire, diffusion of single room fire safety has critical effect on the building fire, this paper alsostudies the effect that combustible distance and an open state of the adjacent room hason flame spread.According to the simulation,it is found that the height of opening has little impacton the development of fuel control fire, while the bigger the area of opening is,moreobvious the impact will be; when the room size and fire heat release rate is under thesame conditions, fire heat release rate growth rate faster, fire will be hazarder, theescape time will be shorter; in the cell(4m6m3m) the influence fire location andcombustible spacing have on the fire is not obvious;when combustibles are lit at thebeginning of fire, the evacuation is favorable, but when the combustible is ignited bytemperature, it has lower temperature, as well as the concentration of CO in the laterstage. The distance of combustibles between fire room fire and the adjacent roomdirectly affects whether the fire spread to the adjacent room, and the adjacent roomcombustion promotes the combustion of fire room, adversely affect the safety of thefire room. when the adjacent room fire and combustible distance is certain, whether thedoor between two adjacent room is open is important for flame propagation.
