A company subject to civilian consumers increasingly sought after for UTVvehicles unique mountain road performance and the formation of a broad marketprospects and potential economic value, expand the research and development work onthe car. This paper explored wagon static and dynamic characteristics and structuraloptimization, because UTV trailers entire skeleton wagon, its structure is reasonablewill be directly related to the four-wheeled vehicle vibration, fuel economy andcomponent reliability.This paper first analyzes to explore the ideas and methods, and then analyze theresults of the analysis and verification. From which to obtain a series of objective dataand simulation models, effective guidance of the frame design, optimization andstereotypes work, main tasks are as follows:①establish a frame-Suspension finite element model and assembled to identifyand load the frame bending, twisting conditions boundary conditions, and then carry outthe frame in accordance with the actual situation-the suspension system static stiffnesscalculations. The results can be deduced from the frame bending stiffness and torsionalrigidity values. Meanwhile, respectively, according to literature and torsional naturalfrequency of the frame, bending and torsional stiffness deduced evaluation criteria andevaluation of the frame.②In the frame-the basis of the suspension system on a finite element model,adding damper limit device to improve the finite element model, while identifying andbend the frame in accordance with the limit load conditions, reversing the conditionboundary conditions, and Frame-Suspension static strength calculation, the resultsobtained by the frame conditions in bending and torsion stress contours.③In order to obtain the stress distribution frame dynamic strength and fatiguereliability, based on the chassis, suspension and limit device assembly model, add tirefinite element model of the vehicle in order to complete the analysis of finite elementmodel of transient simulation. Taking into account the daily UTV four cars travelingthe road conditions, select a washboard road, the big twist pavement, cobblestonepavement pavement three kinds of incentives.
