| In the bending behavior of the beam, the material of the upper and lower edgesplays a dominant role. In order to make the best use, people adopt the structure of the rigidplate a layer of special core material between two layers sandwiching, getting a sandwichbeam with high strength and stiffness, and such advantage of stability. Sandwich beamsare generally composed of thin panel and thick core material. Compared with the corematerial, the panel is usually made from the material of high-strength and elastic modulus.Because of its advantages, laminated beams are widely used in aerospace, engineeringstructures, civil buildings and bridges.This article considers the effects of transverse normal stress and transverse shearstress on the stability of the sandwich beam, on the base of classical beam bending theory,analysis the force on laminated beams and deduces equations of sandwich beams. With theapplication of reciprocal method, we solved the problems of the rectangular sandwichbeams buckling stability: two ends simply supported, one end fixed and simply supportedat the other end, one end fixed and one end free, fixed at both ends and one end fixed theother end free rectangular cross-laminated sandwich beams under concentrated loads. Andwe got the calculation results of corresponding numerical by the numerical calculationwith MATALAB platform, and explained the feasibility of the application of reciprocalmethod to research the stability problem of rectangular cross-section of the sandwichbeam. Thus, it provides a new method for the stability problem of rectangular sandwichbeam. |
