Currently, Chinese spacecraft assembly and loading system is relatively backward,Many key aspects are still using primitive methods. According to the current situation,based on the particular requirements asked by the Satellite Environmental EngineeringInstitute of CAST(China Academy of Space Technology), take the idea of parallel attitudeadjustment to spacecraft assembly system, designed a parallel position-adjustment deckfor spacecraft’s assembly System, do some research on control of attitude adjustmentmodel by joystick. Combined with the current domestic spacecraft and design newtransportation tool for assembly system, make the theoretical foundation for theimprovement of our spacecraft assembly system. This paper analysd interrelated designtheories completely, designed a parallel position-adjustment deck and conveying device ofspacecraft’s assembly system based on actual conditions, and do some detail kineticanalysis and finite element analysis by relevant software. The main contents of the paperare as follows:Firstly, established a spacecraft attitude adjustment assembly systems based on theparallel robot, and designed a2-DOF assist tool which can fold for the installation of theside deck in the limited space; under condition of limited space, obtained optimumstructure by calculation, did some simulation analysis of the attitude adjustment system,analysised the force of links on limit conditions, made finite element analysis for the keypieces.Secondly, designed transportation tool for a particular model of a Chinese spacecraftassembly system, made simulation analysis for the installation process in each quadrant,did simulation of driving force by adding gear pair, made stress analysis of structure basedon finite element.Finaly, in order to verify the feasibility of the control of spacecraft attitudeadjustment platform with joystick, established convenient control program for the controlof adjusting parallel model by joystick, and verified the control program on the model of6-RSS.
