Research On Artistic Spirit Of Garden In Ming And Qing Dynasty

Based on the analysis of case analysis of the famous garden in Ming and Qing dynasty,this thesis makes a brief summary about the history, development, artistic characteristic andachievements of the gardens in Ming and Qing dynasty. Theoretically the landscape designin Ming and Qing dynasty uphold the spirit of nature and atmosphere creating and showsvarious different styles. Based on the cultural and social background of that period andcompared according to the sequence of the construal material, this paper analyzesspecifically how the landscape design of Qing dynasty borrowed, inherited and developedthose of Ming dynasty. Thus the paper exploits the artistic spirit of poetry and pictorialsplendor of Qing dynasty’s landscape design, historical connotation and its influence on themodern landscape design.
