| CNC machine tool is the key equipment of modern manufacturing industry and its development trends will be high speed, high precision and high efficiency direction with the progress of manufacturing technology. The rigidity and machining performance of the machine tool are mainly determined by the stiffness and precision of the parts. In order to make the machine have a high stiffness and machining performance and ensure it can work safely and steadily, the structure of the machine tool must have good static and dynamic characteristics. Therefore, the research on the analysis and optimization of the static and dynamic characteristics of the key parts of the machine tool which is based on the finite element method has great practical significance.In this paper virtual modeling technology and simulation analysis technology is used to analyze the static and dynamic characteristics of the support part of CNC machine tools. According to the analysis, we can find the weak link of the structure,and then carry on the improvement and optimization of the structure. The main research contents are as follows:(1) The solid model of the base is established to do static and dynamic characteristics analysis which provides the theoretical basis for its structure optimization. The static and dynamic stiffness of the base’s lateral wall are insufficient which lead to a certain probability of resonance phenomenon. According to the analysis of the phenomenon that the base is weak, the traditional design and modern design are combined to carry out the model test, which can increase the support of the weak link and improve the static and dynamic stiffness. Then the supporting function of the reinforced rib plate is increased to the best while the sensitivity analysis and objective optimization of the base are analyzed. The dynamic performance of the base can be improved by increasing the natural frequency of the base to the quasi-static region of the vibration curve.(2) The solid model of the column is established do static and dynamic characteristics analysis. The topology optimization design of column is based on the variable density method of topology optimization of continuum while lightweight design is the target. And then the sensitivity analysis and objective optimization of the column are analyzed to obtain optimized structure.In the end, the first order natural frequency of machine tool base raised 24.27%as well as the quality of the column reduce 7.1%.The effect of optimization design is achieved and machine static and dynamic performance has improved significantly. |
