| The column is one of the important components of the machining center. Thecharacteristics of its structure greatly affect the performance of the machining center,which mainly affect the cutting efficiency, machining accuracy, vibration resistance,etc. The finite element analysis on static&dynamic performance for column structureof machining center is one of the important methods to determine the performance ofthe whole machine. Static analysis is mainly used to determine the stress and strainconditions caused by the load on the mechanical structure, and then judge whether thestructure under various loads can meet the requirements of strength and stiffness or not.Dynamic analysis is mainly used to research the natural frequency and vibration modeof the mechanical structure, which are the important indexes to evaluate the dynamicperformance.The static&dynamic analysis of two types of column structure of the horizontalmachining center and the contact analysis between the guide rail and the slide block ofTHG400welded-structure horizontal machining center can be completed with thefinite element analysis software ABAQUS. Firstly, the3D model of the two columnstructure of THG400and THG630, and of the guide rail and slide block can bereasonably simplified and built by using the way of the combination of shell elementand solid element. Then, the static&dynamic analysis of the two types of columnstructure of the horizontal machining center and the contact analysis between the guiderail and the slide block of THG400are respectively analyzed based on the finiteelement models. The analyses of their stress, strain and vibration mode are mainlytaken into account. According to the results of analyses, find out the weak position ofeach structure, evaluate whether the design of these structure are reasonable or not.Properly optimize the design of the structure or the distribution form for unreasonableposition. Finally, contrast and analyze the superiority and inferiority of the two types ofthe column structure of THG400and THG630.At last, through the static analysis, the stress and displacement of THG400and itsguide and its slide, and THG630is very small. So, the structure of the destructiveproblem is not to be considered. Through the dynamic analysis, THG400comparedwith THG630, the natural frequency of THG630is relatively low, and the measures ofshock absorption can be appropriately taken. |
