Often in the welding process extremely easy to produce large amounts of heat, which allows a metal or other thermoplastic materials have a greater thermal distortion, and the process is a non-linear, complex process, which are welded to influential positions, resulting in deviation.Currently mainly used in the production of arc welding robot is not good resilience, the implementation of the correction is less than satisfactory, due to interference and uncertainties, as well as strictly required for the job stability, so the development of a weld automatic tracking system for automated w elding and intelligence of great practical significance.Vision Sensor is a promising sensor.It is worth researching, because it has a large amount of information, good performance,wide applicability and so on, and these are precisely the other sensors are not available. According to the requirements of actual productions, a weld automatic tracking system based on vision sensing is designed in this paper.To introduce the working principle,hardwa re and software design.Hardware structure of weld automatic tracking system is divided into laser generator, vision sensors,optical modules, actuator, and AC serve drive.Software structure of weld automatic tracking system is divided into image acquisition, read-in memory, gray transform, image binarization, delinea ted threshold value, the output offset and control drives.Weld automatic tracking system based on vision sensing in this paper archieves automatic control of the welding process, improves the degree of intelligence,and also has practical significance in t he actual welding applications.
