Risk Management Study Of Baosteel Furnace Automation Intergrated Project

Since there are more new equipments and new technology applied in integrated automation project, the scale of the integrated project turns to be bigger and requires large-scale organization, long time design and manufacturing cycle, these will bring all kinds of unpredictable uncertain factors, which lead to all kinds of failure risks of the integrated project from the beginning. How to deal with the project risk management is undoubtedly an important task in the automation system integration project management, especially to identify the project risks and analyze such risks. How to effectively identify and analyze and control these risks, as well as to establish the control measures, to provide a reference for the implementation of similar project of Baosteel in future, is the subject of this article.Based on the background of the successful construction of Baosteel Heavy plate heating furnace automation integration project, this article has illustrated the project risk management stage by stage. Through the research of project management theory and method application, this article raises the necessity of the risk management for the heating furnace integrated automation project. According to the risk mechanism of heating furnace automation integration projects, to do an effective identification of the project risks, this article has raised the various types of risk of heating furnace automation integration projects at different project stage stages, and introduced the project risk control measures from the project design, schedule, construction, procurement and commissioning.
