CNC turret punch is widely used because it has many advantages, like high efficiency, high automation, high accuracy and low production cost. With the development of technology, structure and performance of CNC turret punch has being improved continuously. But the development of Domestic machine tools remains stagnant due to lack of theoretical analysis and experimental research. Therefore, based on CNC turret punch as the research object, a method including the numerical calculation, theoretical analysis and experimental testing is adopted. With the study on dynamic characteristics of feed system, Optimization designs of CNC technology and damping system are proposed. The main achievement and innovation point of this paper as follows:Based on lumped parameter method and theory of stiffness matrix of ball screw interface, a new modeling method with high computational efficiency and practicability is presented.Modal experiment of crossbeam is carried out, and corresponding modal parameters are obtained. By the comparison of the finite element model, the validity of the finite element model is verified.A rigid-flexible coupling model of feed system with the characteristics of the interface is built by new surface modeling method of machine tool.Research on influence of diffident parameters to the dynamics of crossbeam is conducted after analyzing three typical working conditions. According to the law of position error, the control strategy of servo system is improved to meet higher accuracy demand.In order to control the vibration and meet the increasing demand for acceleration capability and accuracy, a new technique of semi-active damping is proposed. A friction-based actuator is used to selectively suppress oscillations of feed drive, allowing for an extensive improvement of the dynamical performance.
