| Since China has implemented the reform and opening up policy, China’s economic development has made remarkable achievements, but we also paid a heavy price, for example, soil erosion, ozone depletion, water pollution, haze and other issues have emerged, which raise increasingly serious ecological damage. Therefore, since The Sixteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, every year, the state government stressed the essential to protect and improve the ecological environment. Ecology is part of the economy, economy is also part of the ecological, both ecological and economic are interdependent, and jointly promote each other’s development, economic development is based on ecology, protecting and improving the ecological environment in turn depend on economic development.Ecological role in economic development has become increasingly prominent, so the study of ecological problems is imperative. Ecological Status of Gansu Province is very important, it is the ecological security barrier for the northwest and the country, the Silk Road economic belt and the Maritime Silk Road(referred to as "The Belt and Road") which has a very important strategic significance was put forward, and Gansu Province has an important location advantage, transportation advantages and the platform edge in the "The Belt and Road" and so on. Whether the ecological status of Gansu Province is not safe plays a vital role in the national and regional economic sustainable development. therefore, studying the contribution of the safety of Gansu ecological factors for improving the ecological situation in Gansu Province has important theoretical and practical significance.The paper is based on the existing research results at home and abroad, referring to commonly used model of ecological security research, establishing the evaluation index system of ecological security in Gansu Province, comprehensively using entropy method and AHP to determine the final weights of the index. then using Comprehensive Index method which can calculate 2001- 2014 ecological security index of Gansu Province, and analyzing and evaluating the ecological security of Gansu Province and the evolution of the security situation, and finally determined on the basis of the safety index, building a double logarithmic linear regression models and applying the principal component analysis method to analyzing the contribution of ecological safety factors. The results show that stressed factors which are included in ecological security index have played the largest role in improving the security situation in Gansu ecological. state ecological security index factors which are included in ecological security index have played the minimal role in improving the security situation of Gansu ecological security. driving force factors of ecological security Factors Index and respond factors of ecological security index can contribute to improving Gansu ecological security situation which have little difference. This provides a scientific and effective basis on how to improve the ecological security situation in Gansu.According to the analytical results, the paper puts forward the pertinent suggestions on how to improve the ecological security of Gansu Province: Firstly, controlling population and improving population quality and technological level; secondly, accelerating the new urbanization and agricultural modernization, promoting people’s employment; Thirdly, relying on national ecological civilization construction, building ecological security barrier Gansu Province. |
