Traditional phase change materials(PCM) will flow and leak after melting. To this end, electrospinning has been exploited for encapsulation and PCM/Polymer composite fibers which polymer materials acted as supproting matrix were be fabricated. In this dissertation, selected polyethylene glycol(PEG, Mn=6000g/mol) as phase change materials(PCM) and cellulose acetate(CA) as supporting matrix, phase change fibers were fabricated by electrospinning. SEM images revealed that the composite materials were cylindrical, homogeneous and nanoscaled fibers. Then, composite fibers were put into the cooling-heating stage and the temperature was set as cooling and heating circulation. After 100 times, the morphology and size of composite fibers were not changed and a few physical crosslinking occurred in some overlapping portions. PEG/CA fibers have applicable phase change temperature and high enthalpy, and remained the properties after cycled. The curve of thermoregulation indicated that PEG/CA composite fibers can serve as thermoregulating materials. Carbon tubes, graphene and graphene oxide with different mass fraction were added into PEG/CA mixed solution respectively. PEG/CA/carbon material composite fibers with different concentration of carbon materials were studied, including mophology and thermal properties. The research showed that diameter of the fibers were increased and thermal properties were decreased with the content of carbon materals. In order to improve thermoregulating capacity of composite fibers, we obtained PEG/PLA fibers by composite fibers via electrospinning. The outcome indicated that the morphology of 8wt% PEG/PLA fibers were similar with PEG/CA fibers. However, the thermal properties had great improvement. PEG/PLA/carbon materials also had great properties, and a certain concentration of carbon materials can act as nuleating agent of crystallization of PEG. The thermoregulating curve showed PEG/PLA fibers have great heat storage capacity as well as thermoregulation capacity.
