In recent years in China’s glass fiber furnaces have been gradually by air combustion to total oxygen combustion upgrading, energy-saving emission reduction has made a lot of achievements, but oxy fuel combustion in the production technology and application level and the developed countries still a certain gap, we need to strengthen the study and research. In addition, there are many practical problems need to be solved in the application of the whole oxygen combustion technology in the alkali free glass fiber kiln.This topic to Glass Co., Ltd. Guangzhou Chung Shun century with an annual output of 1.2 million tons of a CS-1B non alkali glass fiber furnace as the object, based on the actual needs of the production and application were studied and analyzed. The main research: the structure design of the glass fiber tank furnace, the selection of the flame space and the burner, the selection of refractory materials, the use of new methods to deal with waste gas to reduce the negative impact of the whole oxygen combustion.Research conclusion: determine a kiln CS-1B melting of the Ministry of design: pool kiln 12.5m, 3.6m wide, long wide than 3.47:1, depth of liquid glass is 625 mm, parapet high 735 mm. Determine the E3 gun as oxy fuel burner, the melting part adopts five oxygen gun uniform staggered arrangement. Oxy fuel combustion alkali free glass fiber tank furnace can be the high price of domestic refractories, the crown of the brick MF-75 B, brick MF-75 A parapet, pool wall using dense chrome oxide bricks CR94-MD. The smaller the viscosity of heavy oil, the less the oxygen lance is replaced, the viscosity of the heavy oil should not be more than 20 mm2/s. A furnace after the renovation of total oxygen combustion, heavy oil consumption of 11.298 tons less than the transformation of the former, 33.28% of the original amount of total fuel consumption, contents of nitrogen oxides by 598mg/m3 reduced to 359mg/m3, decrease of 66.6%. Total oxygen combustion furnace is easy to produce the phenomenon of high temperature flue gas dew point corrosion of sulfuric acid, development and application of ND steel as material, and the outlet temperature of the waste heat boiler flue gas control in about 190℃ or above, can ensure the service life of the fan.
