| With the continuous progress of the recent years the concept of book design, book binding design from a single visual experience mainly cover design gradually to the whole design. In addition, with the development of the times, the emergence of e-books makes people read books on the progressive tendency of digital publications. Traditional books have been unable to meet the growing demand for sensory experience. Traditional book design needs to be updated with the design ideas and strategies. Visual, tactile, auditory as the dominant "multi sense" design of traditional book design with a new design strategy. This paper emphasizes the tactile design, because it is the second most important senses in addition to the visual sense, the most direct feeling can be obtained through the touch..Text first introduces the topics of the research background and the domestic and foreign research status; secondly, it introduces the design of traditional books under the impact of e-books to more sense of design, and the addition of tactile vision beyond the importance in traditional books design; again briefly introduces haptic extension of a concept: concept and applications of haptic; next key to Chinese traditional arts and crafts books, pop-up books for children, the concept of book design as the main object of study, from the various, the multiple perspectives analysis touch into the strategies and advantages.
