| With the rapid development of manufacturing industry, plastic products have been applied more and more widely in many fields, such as automotive, electronic communications, computer, household appliances, which makes the injection mold design and manufacturing requirements become higher. In the former process of injection mold design, people modified the parameters mainly by the past experience and repeating the test mode to continue, so that the mold design and manufacturing cycle was very long, the production cost increased. In this case, the integration of CAD/CAE/CAM technology provides a new solution for the design and manufacture of modern injection mould. Based on the plastic shell as an example, the thesis do aresearch on CAD/CAE/CAM integration technology, the contents are as follows :Firstly, I designed the plastic shell of the injection mold structure with the UG software, including the selection of parting surface, the design of forming parts, gating system, ejecting mechanism, side core-pulling mechanism, and the cooling system, and the selection of mould base.Secondly, I took an analysis on plastic shell with software Moldflow. The optimization includes the related analysis of optimal gate, filling, flowing, cooling and warping. According to the respective results of the analysis, I modified the molding process parameters, the mold cooling system design and mold gating system. I also simulated and repeated this process in the software, and finally managed to get the optimal design scheme to obtain plastic products of optimal molding quality.Thirdly, I made NC machining simulation for the injection mold parts with NC machining module of UG software, and I completed the NC machining simulation of the core plate and the cavity plate, had a clear processing program of plate, and finally generate the NC program. |
