At present, the domestic cantilever machine mainly rely on the imitate and analogy design of foreign advanced existing products of machine equipment enterprise, and rely on the experience in the process of independent development.Especially for small and medium-sized enterprises, they are less able to develop new products. As a result of the machine working conditions, complicated structure, numerous parts, it is caused that the product research and development need to develop new research means to solve problems in product design.Modern design are an inevitable development trend for coal mine machinery. In view of the cantilever machine production enterprise, there are some problems such as long development cycle and high development cost.Around the demand for digital design systems, based on ASP, ASP.NET platform, and the results of other researchers, using a variety of software development technology, a digital design system based on LAN is researched for cantilever machine. The system covers the cantilever machine important part in the design process, including selection of design, CAD parametric modeling,CAE parametric analysis and many knowledge resources in the design process,etc. It preliminarily realized digital design, and effectively improved the efficiency of research. In this paper, the main research contents and characteristics are as follows:(1) Based on the research of the digital design integration method,combining with the actual needs of enterprises, the integrated system framework of the overall design and implementation process is put forward. The environment of the overall design of the system and system development is determined. The main function of the integrated design system and the theory is expounded, including the existing research results and the main functions of the need to develop, and the function of these examples show, completed the overall design of the system and function orientation.(2) Cantilever machine online selection subsystem based on LAN is proposed. Based on the MATLAB function and interface of the COM component technology, the two kinds of methods are successfully realized for machine and the model with the function of the overall technical parameters design development.(3) Machine knowledge resources subsystem based on LAN is proposed.The related knowledge of machine resources is in-depth study and collected.Based on ASP technology and database technology, a relatively complete machine service subsystem is established. Designers can take the knowledge resources easily in real-time query and browsing capabilities.(4) Using the method of black box and white box testing, the system test solution is put forward. All of functions and man-machine interactive design system was tested to ensure the reliability and stability of the system operation.Eventually the cantilever machine digital design system based on LAN is established, successful applied in the machine design process of the enterprise. It can help the designers using modern design method, for solving the selection in the process of machine design, CAD parameterized modeling, CAE parametric analysis of the actual problem. At the same time, it can provide designers with more comprehensive knowledge of the machine resources in query and browse online, and can be applied to new staff training, etc. There has important practical significance to improve the efficiency of the design research.
