Ceramic roller have the ability of resistance abrase, acid and alkali and don’t have electrostatic seal well, lubricating oil isn’t come to light and the dust in the outside couldn’t intrusion the bearings easily. It doesn’t need any lubricating oil to maintenance and repaint, life are improve several times than steel roller that reduce the cost significantly. But the ceramics are hard to processing because of the vulnerability thus lead to the technology of ultrasonic assisted magnetic abrasive finishing(UMAF).This essay review the kinds of scholars’ research at magnetic abrasive particle(MAP), magnetic abrasive finishing device, finishing mechanism, for the downsides of the efficiency of magnetic abrasive finishing, focus on the ultrasonic assisted magnetic abrasive finishing mechanism and the processing parameters.
