China’s domestic e-waste production coupled with high foreign input result in the number of e-waste is increasing year after year. In our country, the vast majority of e-waste flows into the non-normalized channels, which lead to the situation of "high yield, low processing". This situation causes serious resource and environmental problems. Ewaste disposal as an important part of the ecological and environmental protection is the inevitable requirement of social development. In this situation and background, this paper attempts to study on the e-waste disposal to make people aware of the importance of effectively handling of e-waste thus achieving the goal of common governance. This paper mainly uses the methods of literature analysis, qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis, comparative research, based on the theory of social governance, to analyze the status of domestic handing of e-waste. This paper affirms the domestic achievements has made in terms of e-waste, discussing the problems and reasons of e-waste disposal of mainly sectors. At the same time, by drawing on the experience of developed countries present the strategies and recommendations to our country. This paper argues that China’s current e-waste is still excessively dependent on government. The responsibility is unknown among government, enterprises, social organizations and citizens, and the lack of cooperation, which is one of the main reasons of e-waste inefficient disposal in China. e-waste disposal is complex system engineering, which need the multiple subjects to participate in. By clearing responsibility of the governments, enterprises, social organizations and individual citizens and let them assume the responsibility for e-waste disposal and strengthen cooperation between each other to form a network of e-waste of social governance, thereby effectively enhance the efficiency of e-waste disposal.
