Domestic scalpel(cutting) edge main material is 3Cr13 stainless steel, 3Cr13 stainless steel chosen this topic as a surgical scissors cutting edge material, the main problem is poor wear resistance.To improve durability, coating technology intensive, this country there is a certain gap.After thorough analysis, finally selects the salt bath composite processing as a scalpel(cut) edge of the reinforcement technology, salt bath composite processing technology is an advanced surface technology, its essence is the nitriding(carbon) + oxidation. This liquid nitriding technology can both improve the metal surface wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and can make almost no deformation,and energy saving, short processing time, element, cost savings, environmental pollution-free, wide applicable scope. This topic first for 3 cr13 stainless steel quenching and tempering process optimization, to find a scalpel(cut) parts suitable quenching temperature, quenching, tempering temperature, time of heat preservation and so on, then considering the 3 cr13 stainless steel surface with a layer of passivation film, so the preheating method in salt bath composite processing technology is studied on permeability layer organization, permeability layer thickness, hardness,corrosion resistance. Then considering the nitriding temperature and nitriding time is an important parameter, salt bath composite processing technology and studied the nitriding temperature and holding time on permeability nitride layer structure, permeability layer hardness, layer brittleness,matrix hardness, the influence of the substrate brittleness, find out the most suitable insulation nitriding temperature and nitriding time. And then making the simulation of a scalpel(cut) the blade,the blade sharpness, durability test and comparing of salt bath composite processing.The research results show that the 3 cr13 stainless steel 15 min after 1020 ℃ quenching hardness is 560.52 HV0.1, and data access to 3 cr13 stainless steel on the conventional heat treatment 53 ~ 54 HRC is close to the highest hardness. 1020 ℃ quenching heat preservation time 15 min hardness distribution more uniform. 3 cr13 steel 1020 ℃ quenching heat preservation time 15 min oil cooling,air cooling after 200 ℃ tempering 2 h hardness hardness values greater than 550 hv0.1. 1, corrosion resistant performance conforms to the formulation of a scalpel blade corrosion resistance(cut)requirements, can be made as a scalpel blade quenching tempering process parameters(cut). 1020 ℃quenching heat preservation time of 15 min, 470 ℃, 480 ℃, 490 ℃ surface hardness is 550 hv0.1)near 1, corrosion resistant performance conforms to the formulation of a scalpel blade corrosion resistance(cut) requirements, also can make a scalpel(cut) as the blade quenching tempering process parameters. Can cause stainless steel 3 cr13 stainless steel preheating carbonitriding layer organization uneven, permeability of thin, poor corrosion resistance, air preheating furnace will improve permeability layer thickness, make uniform permeability layer organization, improve the corrosion resistance.(nitriding temperature 480 ℃, 500 ℃, 520 ℃, 540 ℃) salt bath composite processing, and fixed nitride heat preservation time 2 h and other process parameters, the permeability layer organization are more uniform, dense, impermeable layer thickness as the nitriding temperature increase is almost linear increase, as the nitriding temperature brittleness increased permeability layer gradually aggravate, carbonitriding layer hardness measurements in 900 ~ 1000 hv0.1. 1, matrix hardness as nitriding temperature rise to slow down sharply declined again, 500 ℃ temperature nitride as the turning point, as the nitriding temperature brittleness increase matrix increase gradually;(nitride heat preservation time 2 h, 3 h, 4 h) salt bath composite processing, fixed nitriding temperature of500 ℃ and other process parameters, the permeability layer organization are more uniform, dense,impermeable layer thickness with nitride increase with the increase of the heat preservation time, layer brittleness may as the holding time increase with the extension of nitride, carbonitriding layer hardness measurements in 900 ~ 1000 hv0.1. 1, matrix hardness with the improvement of nitriding heat preservation time, slow down, brittle matrix with the improvement of nitriding heat preservation time and almost no change; After comprehensive consideration, it is concluded that the nitriding temperature and nitriding process optimization parameters for the time of heat preservation, nitriding temperature 500 ℃, holding time 3 h nitride. Performance testing found that through optimizing process parameters of salt bath composite processing, 3 cr13 stainless steel blade edge sharpness,durability is greatly increased, corrosion resistant performance is not very poor.
