Linen is an important textile raw material, It’s textiles are widely favored by most consumers because of their good style such as comfortable feeling, fast moisture absorption and so on. The purpose of retting flax is to remove part of the pectin, hemicellulose, lignin and other non-cellulosic material, increase the degree of separation and the spinnability, thereby obtaining for good textile fibers. The means of traditional flax roving scouring are mainly alkaline scouring and bleaching of flax roving, which can lead to serious environmental pollution, strongly chemicals usage, heavily water consumption and other issues.In the study, we studied scouring flax roves with enzymes, which was directed at conventional alkaline scouring. The use of enzymes in the scouring of flax roves can reduce chemicals usage and can short time with degumming bacteria.Specific researches as follows:(1)We used an orthogonal experiment to optimize the flax scouring process conditions with the single enzyme and compound enzymes, and studied the influential factors of time, temperature and the kinds of enzymes on scouring of flax roves. In addition, scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and FTIR spectra was used to evaluate the removal of gummy materials on the fiber bundles.(2)The pretreatment-enzymes scouring process were mainly optimized, and the alkali-enzymes combined scouring process were specially optimized. Besides, the optimal alkali-enzymes combined scouring process was selected to compare with the traditional scouring process.(3)The selected scheme of enzyme-hydrogen peroxide combined scouring process was determined by strength, fineness and weight loss of treated fibers.(4)The thermal analysis technology of DSC and TGA were used to analyze the thermal behavior of different flax fibers after different scouring.(5)The degumming enzyme was obtained from strain, it’s activity was measured and the effect of degumming was explored. Besides, the removal ability of gum by new degumming enzyme system was investigated.The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)An optimum processing of one enmyze was obtained: the pH value 4-5,the scouring temperature was 45℃,degum time was 2h with Xylanase. An optimum processing of compound enzymes were obtained: the pH value 4-5,the scouring temperature was 45℃,degum time was 2h with Xylanase and Pectinase.(2)The fiber fineness, strength of fibers and weight loss treated by pretreatment-enzymes combined scouring were improved. Among the combined scouring process, quality of flax fibers treated with alkali-enzymes combined scouring process was best. Compared with traditional alkali scouring process, the quality of fiber treated by alkali(2.5%, o.w.f)- enzymes combined scouring process was better.(3)An effective scheme of enzymes- hydrogen peroxide combined scouring and bleaching of flax roves was selected, and it has fewer amounts of chemicals compared with traditional semi-bleaching process.(4)Extracted crude enzymes whose effective component is Portuguese dew glyosidic enzyme from bacterial strain BL21-898257. A certain degumming effect to the flax roving was obtained. The new composite enzyme system which is composed of the crude enzyme fluid has a better degumming effect than biological compound enzyme, while the weight loss rate is 12.1%, the splitting degree is 986 Nm, the strength of fiber is 30.4 cN/tex。...
