In daily life production,some structures are often complex product structures are used in flanging forming process, often the final forming defects also occur in flanging forming process, it is necessary for the common flange structure more in-depth research to find a better method of molding and technology, improve or eliminate the forming defects. But now with respect to the punching, stretching, bending and other stamping process, studies on the flange is relatively less, documentation associated with cuffs some less. In this paper, focusing on household appliances metal stamping flanging, which is required for the partial flange forming process, which is often the most difficult part of shaping, household appliances, metal cuffs structure commonly used mainly three species:a) ordinary flat edge of the flange portion, usually not forming defects.b) bending inward at the same time on both sides of the edge of the flange, defects are usually produced by flanging the flange portion is wrinkling phenomenon.c) simultaneously on both sides of the edge parts are bent and outward flanging, defects are usually produced by flanging the flange portion is generated crack phenomenon.Curved sheet metal flange structure of this paper is the basis for the development of historical research and research on the status quo in cuffs, the home appliance enterprises to provide three-dimensional model of the housing focus on continuous recessed flange type. It offers three molding process according to the model structure: a) secondary bending (bending after the first flanging); b) after the first bend flanging; c) a flanging (flanging and forming at the same time).The main contents of this article are:Use Pro/E software to build three-dimensional models of parts, identify and define the geometry of four parts forming affect the quality of that flange height, bend radius, die radius and sheet thickness; Use software Dynaform first secondary bending and after bending flanging forming process two kinds of numerical simulation, forming Limit Diagram of two molded under strain diagram and the thickness of the main cloud detailed analysis and comparison; Focus on the analysis in a bending process conditions, the impact of flange height, bend radius, die radius and sheet thickness of four geometric parameters on the forming quality; By understanding the mechanism of action of drawbeads and these three forming process analysis, Innovative and flexible use drawbeads after a first bending flanging and flanging the two forming process optimization, And the same geometric parameters of each part of the optimization process at forming quality before and after the analysis and comparison; In the next flanging molding process conditions, drawbead position on the finite element mold further optimized.Taking these select an optimum combination of the molding process and Drawbead to optimize the forming process, solving business problems in such flanging, enriching the sheet metal forming process flanging process theory and content, it can provide reference for sheet metal stamping work of art.
