During the period of the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan", the state promulgated the "Emission standard of air pollutants for thermal power plants", which stipulated the emission targets for major pollutants. At the same time, Zhejiang Environmental Protection Office also requires desulfurization bypass damper of active coal fired generating units must be abolished before the end of 2013.In response to national and provincial environmental protection requirements, a thermal power plant in Zhejiang is scheduled to eliminate the desulfurization bypass damper by the end of 2013, to achieve operation of desulfurization system in the whole process. They use the opportunity of Short-term repair, retrofit scheme using existing induced draft fan and booster fan series, canceled the flue gas desulfurization (FGD) bypass successfully. At present, the flue gas desulfurization system without bypass is operating normally, and the expected goal is achieved, and the long period safe and stable operation of the unit is realized.In addition, in order to ensure the smooth progress of the project, on the basis of the overall analysis of the project, the installation and construction process of the flue gas desulfurization system were supervised in the whole process, to ensure the smooth completion of the project.
