Limestone-gypsum wet flue gas desulfurization system is very complex,a lot of limestone,water,electricity and other resources will be spent while SO2 is removed from the flue gas,and the electricity charge accounts for 80%of the total operating cost.So power saving is of great significance to flue gas desulphurization.This paper begins with the analysis of the actual operation condition and parameters of the system,and computes the required circulating slurry flow changing with the load,the operating mode of the system of large power circulating slurry pumps is optimized and improvement scheme of changing small pump wheel is put forward;Then the resistance distribution with different circulating slurry flow and control mode is simulated and computed in the spray tower with the CFD software Fluent,which supplies theoretical basis for the power saving research of booster pump;At last the regulation scheme of booster fan is provided.In short,the system can reduce 6,200,000 kWh total power consumption every year through theoretical calculations.
