The Research And Application Of Scarf Pattern Design Based On The Computer Drawing Software

Scarf is a kind of accessories, it has great significance in matching clothes, showing the wearer’s identity, status, dress sense, improving wearer’s temperament and so on. With the infiltration of multiple aesthetic cultures and the increasing of people’s living standard,the traditional technique of pattern design has failed to meet the consumers’ needs.Nowadays, in this information age, the computer drawing software provides a good way for the design of scarf pattern and makes the design varied, faster, better and more convenient.In this research, the computer drawing software was used in the pattern design by the methods of referring to literature materials and analyzing specific cases. On the one hand,the paper expounded the characteristics of the computer drawing software(take Photoshop CS4 as an example) and the modeling forms, the color sources and the features of scarf pattern. According to the different classifications of scarf patterns, the paper analyzed the design step of each type pattern in details on the basis of theory and practice; On the other hand, choosing the C# language and Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 as development platform, the research established the system for pattern collocation and search by using computer programming technology, with the purpose of providing an aided design system for scarf pattern designers.From this research, we can conclude that the scarf pattern design has diverse characteristics in the skill design, color design and layout design, there are variety of ways on scarf patterns’ model form and color source. All these factors should be considered in the design of scarf pattern; The computer drawing software has many advantages than traditional pattern design tools. Its application can help the designers to create more patterns which own both technical features and artistic features; The establishment of the collocation and search system can effectively save, update and perfect the design materials in the long-term. At the same time, it can provide designers with reference and inspiration.This research can provide a basic reference for the future research about computer drawing software used in the design of scarf pattern and provide theory and applicationguidance to solve the current bottlenecks and innovation problems that the scarf pattern design is facing.
