After nearly 50 years’ development, Xing 1-3 Western B Block of Daqing fourth plant has entered into late high water-cut stage, the composite water cut reaching above 90%. Although a lot of water flooding development system adjustments have been carried out, there is still a great amount of remaining oil buried underground without being explored effectively. Therefore, in order to make the injection-production system adjustment in late high water-cut stage more scientific and reasonable, it is necessary to conduct water flooding development effect evaluation to find out the dominant factors restricting the development effect. And the corresponding improvement measures towards these dominant factors should also be put forward, which will provide the reliable theory basis for field adjustment. In this thesis, based on the statistical analysis of field actual dynamic and static data, the research on the effect law of related factors towards water cut, liquid producing capacity, decline rate and reserve/production ratio is carried out. The grey correlation method is used to determine the main controlling factors of various development indexes. And then four categories of ten evaluation indexes of water flooding development effect are screened out. In combination with the fuzzy evaluation method, the development effect evaluation system is established to estimate the water flooding development effect of this block. The evaluation result turns out to be “better”. Sequentially, the corresponding suggestion of adjustment measures aimed at existing problems is also given.Meanwhile, in order to further effectively extract remaining oil and improve the effect of water flooding development, the numerical simulation method is adopted to research on remaining oil exploration optimization of Xing 1-3 Western B Block. On the basis of history matching, the remaining oil is divided into five types according to its origin and distribution characteristics, and the corresponding countermeasures for tapping the potential of remaining oil are presented. Then the exploration measures for each kind of remaining oil are optimized respectively by comparing the development effect and economic evaluation result, which provides the reference for the work of field measures adjustment.
