Styrene butadiene rubber, referred to as SBR, is composed of styrene butadiene latex by flocculation, soap, washing, drying and pressing into the pack prepared. The SBR industrial using polymer coagulant-sulfuric acid coagulation system to produce styrene butadiene rubber (SBR-a), a large number of wastewater generated during the solidification process of serious environmental pollution. To study the solidification mechanism and method of SBR, and explore a green production solidification method is the aim of the study. The jet solidification method to prepare styrene butadiene rubber (SBR-j) and analyze the performance of SBR; at the same time, using the RPA, TG, DMA, DSC, electronic tensile testing machine and other instruments to character and analyze the structure and properties of CB/SBR composite and pure vulcanized SBR.The results were as follows:(1)The ash content and soap content of SBR-j were significantly higher than that of SBR-a, the content of volatile and organic acid of SBR-a was lower than that of SBR-j,the Mooney viscosity of SBR-j and SBR-a were close to the values.(2)Infrared analysis showed that SBR-j and SBR-a were slightly different on rubber structure,The raw SBR-j has characteristics of disproportionated rosin acid potassium salt was the asymmetric vibration absorption peak at 1540cm-1, The raw SBR-a has obvious characteristics of organic acid in the carbonyl stretching vibration absorption peak in 1700cm-1.(3)The vulcanization time of induction, the scorch time and curing time of pure vulcanized SBR-j is short, the maximum torque value of MH is relatively low; but the minimum torque value of ML is relatively high; This indicates that the processing safety of SBR-j is poor. The swelling degree of SBR-j was larger than that of SBR-a pure rubber, and the cross-linking density was smaller. The 300% elongation force, tensile strength, elongation at break, permanent deformation of pure vulcanized SBR-j was higher than that of pure vulcanized SBR-a; both the shore hardness of the same. The aging resistance of pure vulcanized SBR-j is better.There is a slight difference in the glass transition temperature of pure vulcanized SBR-j and pure vulcanized SBR-a. The initial thermal stability of pure vulcanized SBR-j was better, and the weight loss rate of SBR-j was slightly lower. The loss factor of pure vulcanized SBR-j and pure vulcanized SBR-a was basically consistent with the change of temperature, The maximum value of the loss factor of pure vulcanized SBR-a was higher than that of pure vulcanized SBR-j.(4)The induction time, the char burn time and the curing time of CB/SBR-j composites are shorter, and the maximum torque value MH is lower, but the lowest torque value ML is higher; This indicates that the processing safety of CB/SBR-j composites is poor. The swelling degree of CB/SBR-j composites was higher than that of CB/SBR-a composites, and the relative density of CB/SBR-j composites was less than that of CB /SBR-a composites. The fracture toughness of CB/SBR-j composites is better than that of CB/SBR-a composites, and the permanent deformation is also larger, The 300% elongation force, tensile strength and tear strength of CB/SBR-j composites are lower than that of CB/SBR-a composites. The aging resistance of CB/SBR-j composites is better than that of CB/SBR-a composites. At low strain levels, the modulus of elasticity of CB/SBR-j composites is higher than that of CB/SBR-a composites; when the strain level is higher, the elastic modulus of CB/SBR-j composite is lower than that of CB/SBR-a composite materials. The loss factor of CB/SBR-j composites is higher than that of CB/SBR-a composites. The glass transition temperature of CB/SBR-j composites and CB/SBR-a composites was slightly different.
