Water is precious source to the survival of human, it is obvious to all that the per capita water resource of our country is low. Water pollution leads to a practical problem that available water resource has decreased. To carry out the construction project to the groundwater environmental impact prediction can provide the basis for the evaluation of the design scheme of the groundwater environmental safety and protection measures.This paper was based on a project of thermal power plant’s environmental impact assessment, established groundwater simulation model by a groundwater flow simulation software GMS. According to the hydrogeological conditions of the study area, established a numerical model of groundwater flow characteristic factors of underground water migration model, and predicted influences of different characteristic factors of groundwater environment. The influence of source intensity treatment, vertical structure profile, hydro geological parameters on the prediction results was presented. Finally, according to the forecast results, the groundwater pollution emergency plan was proposed. Main achievements presented as follow:By comparing the results of the concentration, mass flux and water injection, the model migration result was influenced by total amount of pollutants entering the ground water. The predicted results of the quality flux and the source intensity treatment of the water injection well were close. The predicted results from the source intensity treatment of the fixed concentration source were different.The effect of vertical section on solute transport was analyzed. To established a double layer structure stable flow model stable with the same thickness of aquifer thickness, top floor elevation data and hydrogeological parameters to the single aquifer model. When the concentration of the pollutant constant, because the pollutants directly into aquifer thickness decreases, and less amount of pollutants into the groundwater, the pollutants influence range of the model and the migration distance are smaller than single layer structure model; under the model with Mass flux, the injection polluter, due to the total amount of pollutants into the groundwater is constant, with injection of aquifer thickness decreases, the concentration gradient of the pollution sources in the surrounding groundwater increases, the pollutant migration distance,the scope of influence is bigger than single layer structure model.
