In this paper, (HA-CF)/PEEK multilayer composites were prepared by in situ synthesis-layered laid-hot pressing molding. The microscopic morphology, microstructure and tissue composition (HA-CF)/PEEK multilayer composites were analyzed by XRD, FT-IR and SEM. The influence of the preparation process conditions on bioactive of (HA-CF)/PEEK multilayer composites was evaluated by the surface sedimentary HA experiment. The influence of the preparation process conditions on the tensile and flexural mechanical properties, fracture mechanism and strengthening mechanism of (HA-CF)/PEEK multilayer composites was studied.1. XRD analysis indicated that the tissue composition and structure PEEK, CF and HA were not changed. FT-IR analysis indicated that CF surface was introduced in oxygen-containing groups when CF was modified with concentrated nitric acid. SEM analysis indicated that (HA-CF)/PEEK multilayer composites was to have 3 layers and each interface could smooth transition similar sandwich board structure of composites, and (HA-CF)/PEEK multilayer composites had good biological activity.2. The tensile mechanical strength and the fracture strain of HA/PEEK composites was decreased with the increase of HA content. And annealing treatment significantly improved the tensile strength.3. The influence of CF surface treatment on the mechanical properties of CF/PEEK composites was remarkable. The mechanical strength of concentrated nitric acid modified CF/PEEK composites was best, and the tensile mechanical strength of was first increased and then decreased with the increase of CF content, the maximum value appeared in the CF is 25 wt%. The flexural strength was increased with the increase of CF content. KH-560 modified CF surface had a little effect on the mechanical properties of CF/PEEK composites.4. The tensile and flexural mechanical strength of (HA-CF)/PEEK multilayer composites decreased with the increase of HA content, but its tensile strength was superior to the tensile strength of the HA/PEEK composites,, mainly due to 20%CF/PEEK composites had enhanced role.5. The tensile mechanical strength of (HA-CF)/PEEK multilayer composite first decreased then increased with the increase of CF content, the minimum value appeared in the CF is 15 wt%. The flexural strength was increased with the increase of CF content.
